Luis FornisPresident and Founder

Luis Fornis is the President and Founder of Global Trust Hospitality, LLC.

Luis has 30 years of experience in the hospitality business.  Prior to organizing Global Trust Hospitality, he was in charge of the management of the operations of Doral Arrowwood Resort and Conference center in Rye Brook, New York for 10 years.  In this role, Luis was responsible for maintaining and upholding strict five-diamond service standards, and overseeing the day-to-day hotel operations and capital projects, among a myriad of other responsibilities.

Originally from Spain, Luis came to this country at the young age of 16 and has continually worked hard to make a difference in the world of hospitality.

Luis’ expertise ranges the spectrum of the hotel business.  He got his start at the very bottom of the hospitality totem pole as a busboy, and worked his way up through various roles at Doral Arrowwood including Banquet Manager, Director of Restaurants, Director of Catering, to ultimately becoming the Executive Director of Hotel Services, a position he proudly held for 10 years.  In his 30 years of climbing the ranks of the hospitality business, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in each position he has diligently held, which he successfully applies now at Global Trust Hospitality.

Luis has continually discovered means to improve the business in innovative and efficient ways.  He is recognized for his abilities in team building and for motivating his team to provide exceptional customer service.  Additionally, he is uniquely gifted at communicating with guests, and making them feel welcome and noticed. In Luis’ company, even the employees feel as though they are speaking to a friend, rather than a superior.

Luis Fornis holds a degree in Marketing from Westchester Community College.
