Joseph Gega is Chairman and Founder of Global Trust Hospitality, LLC.

Joseph brings over 20 years of financial industry experience to Global Trust Hospitality.  He began his career at Mortgage One, where he went on to became Vice President, and eventually part owner of the company.  In his 6 years there, he grew the company exponentially, from 7 employees to 165 employees

Joseph was soon after recruited by Countrywide Financial Group to jumpstart their residential business in Fairfield County, Connecticut.  Here he also contributed exponential growth by producing on an annual basis of upwards of $1 Billion dollars in origination in each year as Branch Manager.  Joseph also maintained regulatory compliance of multiple branches in this position.

As a private equity lender/hedge fund, Joseph led Nationwide Capital to focus on short term lending such as bridge and mezzanine loans as President and Managing Director.  Nationwide also focused on long term debt such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, LEAN, and HUD financing. Additionally, Nationwide arranged LIHTC, New Market Tax Credits, and Historic Tax Credits.  In this capacity, Joseph purchased defaulted debt, repositioned the assets, and managed and owned these assets. Joseph ultimately helped grow the business to over $300 Million in pool of assets.

Joseph brings all this experience in the financial industry to Global Trust Hospitality as Chairman and Founder.  He is passionate about seeking mismanaged multifamily, quality flag hotels, office buildings, and shopping centers throughout the 50 states and turning them into quality assets with pronounced returns.
